VIDEOS NOW AVAILABLE TO HELP
SENIORS WITH LONG TERM CARE OPTIONS

Each year, thousands of Michigan families struggel with painful decisions regarding care for the elderly who can no longer live without assistance in their own homes. The Elder Law and Advocacy Section of the State Bar of Michigan has produced a series of video tapes designed to help seniors and their families plan for long term care.

This low cost resource, called "Long Term Care Challenges and Choices", provides seniors, families, aging advocates, health care professionals, social workers and legal practitioners with an important tool for making informed decisions about long term care options in Michigan.

Several CBC staff and board members participated in producing these tapes.

The two tape series covers:

  • Geriatric Assessment
  • Alternatives to Nursing Homes
  • How to Evaluate Long Term Care Alternatives and Choose Among Them
  • The First 30 days in A Long Term Care Facility
  • The Rights of a Resident in Long Term Care Facility
  • Creative Problem Solving Tips in Long Term Care

The cost for each tape is $9 (includes shipping/handling) or $18 for the set.
All orders must be pre-paid.
